The right window treatment changes how a room feels at 4 p.m. in July. At Rays Carpet One Floor & Home, a family-run Hunter Douglas Showcase Dealer on Kiernan Avenue, we help Modesto and Central Valley homeowners choose shades, shutters and blinds that look right, work right and fit the way each room is used.
You can see and operate Hunter Douglas styles in our Modesto showroom, then have us come to your home to measure, bring samples and give you a written estimate at no cost. When you’re ready, our team handles installation.
Modesto summers bring long afternoons of direct sun, especially on west- and south-facing windows. That light is beautiful, but it also brings heat, glare and fading. Winter nights swing the other way.
Hunter Douglas window treatments help you manage both. Insulating honeycomb shades help slow heat transfer through the glass. Light-filtering fabrics soften glare without closing off the view. Room-darkening and blackout options make bedrooms usable on summer evenings, and motorized schedules can lower shades before the afternoon heat arrives.

Luminette privacy sheers and Skyline gliding panels both stack to the side so you can walk through easily. Vertical blinds are a simpler option.
